SOLITUDE

I wished I had;
A friend, a spouse, an acquaintance. .
Do you know hard solitude is?
To be all alone in the world,
To be forsaken by those who love you,
The breaking of every branch you stretch out to,
The closing of every door you knock
Do you know hard solitude is?
I wished I had;
A friend, a spouse, an acquaintance. .
I would like to love profusely,
I would have liked to be loved.
Someone to share my troubles,
When surrounded by despair,
Someone to come to my rescue.
Not having someone like this,
Do you know hard solitude is?
I wished I had;
Troubles, happiness and hope,
And even tears. . .
I donít even have these.
I cannot even weep when I am in despair.
As if there were someone to silence me if I wept. . ..
Is there anyone to stop the waterfall?
This is how solitary I am.
Its only my lines that console me.
Now do you understand what I am?
Compared to the magnificence of the world,
Iím only a cell. . .
