“TO BE OR NOT TO BE”

There is a famous line in Shakespeare’s Hamlet. ( Act III Scene1)

“To be or not to be. . .that is the question. . .”

If I asked you where you were before you were born, you wouldn’t know; nor would you be able to respond. . because you don’t have access to the memory records of that period. . because you used to nothing. . . you did not exist. . .

Say: “It is He who has created you( and made you grow), and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, feeling and understanding: Little thanks it is you give..” Verse 23, Dominion (Mulk) Sura 67.

God has enabled you to see, hear and speak. Yet some of you seeing, hearing and speaking: attempted to reject your Creator with the tongue He gave you. . .

Have you ever been anaesthetized?  Have you ever experienced surgery? If you have undergone surgery, do you recall what happened after you were anaesthetized?   No one recalls. . .  Because as far as you are concerned that part of the film has snapped off. . the memory records of the surgery do not exist. . . You cannot recall. . . because the section of your brain where the memory records are stored has momentarily been stopped. After regaining consciousness you try to recall. Yet, the last object you can recall is the anaesthetist’s  face kneeling over you. It takes a shore period for you to realize what has happened.

“ Such ( being their state). We raised them up (from sleep), that they might queston each other. Said one of them: “How long have ye stayed (here)?” They said: We have stayed (perhaps) a day, or part of a day.”(At length) they all said: God (alone) knows best how long ye have stayed here. Verse 19 of the Cave (Kahf)  Sura 18

This is what it is like after death. After death, a person  is not aware that he or she has died. Nor can he or she  realize what one is being experienced.  Because there is a transformation from a concrete dimension to an abstract one. Your memory records are left in you brain. They are inaccessible. The brain is left in one’s body. . .It is for this reason that you do not   realize that you have died. Not until you try to sit up and hit your head on the ceiling of your grave. .  . . It is then that you realize the fact: You are DEAD!

This is entirely a  matter of perception . In order to perceive this, we have to know how the energy, we call spirit, coordinates and harmonizes with the body. Our spiritual structure using the chemistry in our body, that is,  the endocrine secretions, affects our biological structure. It is for this reason that adrenaline secretions increase when we are excited or agitated and our hearts beat faster, we perspire and our mouths dry up . .or when we take a test  the psychological effects of the test cause us to have a stomach ache.

Conversely, our hormones, that is,  the chemistry of our body affects our psychological  structure. Thus, during pregnancy women become more sensitive.

This is,  exclusively,  a phenomenal relationship between matter and energy, which has still not been resolved to this day.

The fact is that for every concrete existence, God Almighty has determined a life span.

“Have We not created you from a fluid (held) held despicable? The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, For a period (of gestation).determined (according to need)? For we do determine (According to need); for We are the Best to determine (things)

Verses 20 – 23 Those Sent Forth, ( Mursalat) Sura 77

A meter has been assigned to every living creature which determines its life span. This meter is like a retroactively  unwinding  chronometer.

In non-living creatures this meter works according to the orbiting electrons in its atomic structure. Every revolution of the electrons brings that object closer to  its predetermined end.

“And the Sun runs his course for a period determined for him. That is the decree of Him, The Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing. Verse 38 Ya-Sin (In Abbreviated Letters)  Letters Sura 36

In living objects, the meter works  by means of the circulation of cytoplasm within the cell membrane. Consequently, in the beginning death is not massive  but cellular. Just like the depletion  of a heap of  soap bubbles in a pail  ending the compilation of bubbles.

Simply, we call this aging. Aging in the beginning is cellular and then becomes massive.

Yes, once you did not exist. . .

Whereas, now you do. . .

You can hear and see. . .

All the beautiful creations of the Creator who has created you,. too . .

In that case believe Him with the heart He has given you and thank Him with the tongue He has given you.  . .

since He has created you. . .

For your hearing ears. . .

For your seeing eyes. . .

Thank him  right now. . .

Maybe, tomorrow you may not be able to use your tongue  and may not be able to thank Him.

“To be or not to be. . .that is the question. . .”

MAY GOD BE YOUR BELOVED AND YOUR COMPANION
