Life can  become a burden

From unbearable evil,

 Intransigent  people,

 thoughts unrelated,

 and lies and treachery.

 You wish to flee

 and leave  everything behind you

But you find yourself so depleted that

Your legs no longer can bear the body

Yet it is not the body that is exhausted

But the soul

It is  fed up with evil

And the frustration of not being understood

You fancy a Friend that will understand you

Your fantasies become a yearning, and your yearning a quest

It is the yearning for a Friend that keeps you going

And who knows how many days on this Earth

Will  pass by before you meet  Him.
