People pass time in their daily lives by not telling the truth and with words in vain. Sometimes itís a simple lie, like saying we are not present when we donít wish to see someone.. Or when we get up late and are tardy at work we use traffic congestion as an excuse. . it may appear simple but when we look at the content it is a down right lie.
Then there words in vain. We see samples of this in the T.V.ís soap operas;. Talk shows lasting for hours without any substance and goal.. . Speeches made by politicians to the public.. . Lengthy calls to the public as if they had any significance. . . Explanations taking hours but not understood at all by the audience. . .
They are actually non-explanations. . .
And for the talk shows. . . Programs encouraging the night of life of the affluent celebrities. . .
Even more interesting the televole programs watched by the middle class with great awe. . .
Let not their wealth nor their (following in) sons dazzle the: in reality Godís Plan is to punish them with these things I this life, and that their souls may perish in their (very) denial of God. Verse 55, Repentance (Tauba), Sura 9
I donít know why the private lives of singers, models and other celebrities Ė and we donít understand what makes them famous - interest people.
And programs such as ďWill you be my bride?Ē To watch their aggressive and grumpy attitudes. . .what pleasure does that give a person? And to have ordinary people participate by taking one side or the other. . . People who donít even answer their phones to keep the bill down. . . But they call those programs and talk over the phone for hours. . . Or they vote in favor of the side they part with. How interesting. . .
These programs copied from other countries are like drugs and make people oblivious of the difficult living conditions. .
Unfortunately in Turkey people who canít even balance the end of the month and think how to make ends meet are obsessed with these programs. . . But why?
The answer is simple: People like division, argument and soap opera/. . .this makes them happy in this temporal world. . .
There is the type of man whose speech about this worldís life may dazzle you and he call God to witness about what is in his heart; Yet is he the most contentious of enemies. VERSEe 204, THE HEIFER (BAQARA) SURA 2
How about Eternal life?
No Vanity shall they hear therein, nor Untruth; VERSE 35,THE GREAT NEWS (NABAA), SURA78
There they no words of vanity, soap opera, arguments or division
And never untruth Because knows the mystery of mysteries. . .
May God Almighty guard us from words of vanity and untruth.
